One of the most useful courses I took at the University of Calgary was our Design for Learning course. Throughout a term, I learned how to really think outside of a box and how to methodically tackle new challenges. I believe our students deserve that we take the time to ensure we always provide them with the best education. Sometimes, this means taking risks and questioning everything. Student teaching in a pandemic taught me quickly that this was a necessity in the profession. In Field 4, we were required to provide detailed lesson plans in order to truly demonstrate our thought process when designing lessons for the students, ensuring that all outcomes are being met and that the needs of all students are accounted for. Please find attached below one such lesson plan for a grade 7 French class.
